As per reports, a road accident has been reported on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on Monday (01 June). Two casualties and one injury has been reported so far. The accident was reported near Khalapur Food Mall, when a container vehicle lost control and overturned on the expressway.
After a few moments, another truck rammed into the overturned vehicle. A car passing by in the adjacent lane was also impacted by the truck. The accident led to a major oil spill after hundreds of oil canisters being transported in the container were scattered across the roadway.
