As per reports, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Tejashwi Yadav has announced to stage a statewide protest on Sunday (01 September) demanding the inclusion of the findings of the 2023 caste survey in Schedule 09 of the Constitution.

He further stated that the Bihar state government under RJD provided 65 percent reservation for Other Backward Class (OBC), Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) and was to be included under Schedule 09 of the Constitution.
