As per reports on Tuesday (14 July), the National Meteorological Service of Argentina (SMN) issued a red weather alert for Santa Cruz Province due to ongoing heavy rainfall, possible snowfall, and strong winds.
• Reports indicate that the storm system affecting Santa Cruz Province is expected to bring continuous rainfall, possible snowfall, and wind gusts of up to 60 kilometres per hour.
• Temperatures are forecast to remain low, with minimum temperatures potentially reaching negative five degrees Celsius and maximum temperatures up to four degrees Celsius.
• Reports indicate that cooler conditions are expected across other parts of Argentina, including Buenos Aires, where temperatures are forecast to range between four degrees Celsius and 20 degrees Celsius during the week.
