As per reports, the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) weather models showed sustained moisture that is likely to prolong the current wet spell.

Forecasters expect wind convergence in the eastern and northern Peninsula starting on Tuesday (18 November). The development could lead to severe thunderstorms, intense rainfall and strong winds till Saturday (22 November).
