The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) has issued a rainfall forecast for parts of Thailand, on Saturday (28 September). Isolated heavy rainfall is likely in the North, the lower Northeast, and the Central regions including Bangkok and the vicinity.
• Northern region:Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phrae, Tak and Kamphaeng Phet.
• North eastern region: Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall in Nakhon Ratchasima, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani.
• Central region: Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat, Kanchanaburi, Suphanburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon.
• Eastern region:Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.
• Southern (East Coast): Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Yala and Narathiwat.
• Southern (West Coast): Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall in Krabi, Trang and Satun.
