The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) has issued a rainfall forecast for parts of Thailand on Monday (14 October). Impacted regions are as follows:
• Northern:Isolated thundershowers mostly in Chiang Mai, Lampang, Tak, Phichit, Phitsanulok and Phetchabun.
• Northeastern:Isolated thundershowers mostly in Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani.
• Central:Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall in Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon.
• Eastern:Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall in Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.
• Southern (East Coast):Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall in Chumphon, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat.
• Southern (West Coast):Fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall in Phangnga, Phuket, Krabi, Trang and Satun.
• Bangkok Metropolitan is forecast to have a fairly widespread thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall, with minimum temperature between 24 to 26 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature between 32 and 35 degrees Celsius.
