The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) has issued a rainfall forecast for parts of Thailand on Friday (27 September). Isolated heavy rainfall is likely in the North, the lower Northeast, and the Central regions including Bangkok and the vicinity.

Impacted areas include:

• Northern region:Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Lamphun, Lampang, Phrae, Tak and Kamphaeng Phet.
• North eastern region: Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall in Nakhon Ratchasima, Surin, Sisaket and Ubon Ratchathani.
• Central region: Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chainat, Kanchanaburi, Suphanburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Ratchaburi, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram and Samut Sakhon.
• Eastern region:Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall in Nakhon Nayok, Prachinburi, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trat.
• Southern (East Coast): Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Phatthalung, Songkhla, Yala and Narathiwat.
• Southern (West Coast): Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall in Krabi, Trang and Satun.
• Bangkok Metropolitan: Scattered thundershowers and isolated heavy rainfall with minimum temperature between 26 and 27 degrees Celsius and maximum temperature between 33 and 35 degrees Celsius.
