As per reports, a railway megablock has been announced for Mumbai on Sunday (22 June) on the Central and Harbour lines. The details are as follows:
• On Central Line, Matunga-Mulund Up and Down Slow Lines will be affected from 1105 hours to 1555 hours. During this time, Down slow line services departing CSMT Mumbai from 1014 hours to 1532 hours will be diverted on Down fast line between Matunga and Mulund stations, halting at Sion, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund, and further re-diverted on Down slow slow line at Mulund station and will arrive at the destination 15 minutes late.
• Further, Up slow line services departing from Thane from 1107 hours to 1551 hours will be diverted to Up fast line at Mulund, between Mulund and Matunga stations, halting at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla and Sion stations and further re-diverted on Up slow line at Matunga station and will arrive at the destination 15 minutes late.
• On Harbour Line, Mankhurd-Nerul Up and Down Lines will be affected from 1115 hours to 1615 hours. During this time, Down Harbour line services to Vashi, Belapur, and Panvel departing from CSMT Mumbai from 1018 hours to 1528 hours and Up Harbour line services towards CSMT from Panvel, Belapur and Vashi from 1037 hours to 1545 hours will remain cancelled. However, special trains will run between CSMT Mumbai – Mankhurd and Panvel – Nerul/Thane.
• During the block period, Harbour Line passengers are permitted to travel via trans-harbour line or the main line from 1000 hours to 1630 hours.
• There is no block announced for Trans-harbour line, Uran line or Western line.
