As per reports, from 04 October until 20 October, travellers in and around Vught and Tilburg are expected to face significant disruptions due to extensive trackwork on the Vught railway line.
• The trackwork is scheduled to occur in three phases. Phase one runs from 04 October at 0055 hours local time (2255 hours UTC on 03 October) to 10 October at 2015 hours local time (1815 hours UTC). During this period, buses are scheduled to operate between ‘s-Hertogenbosch and Boxtel, and between ‘s-Hertogenbosch and Tilburg. An additional intercity service is scheduled to run between Heerlen, Eindhoven, Rotterdam Central Station, Breda, and Utrecht.
• Phase two takes place from 10 October at 2016 hours local time (1816 hours UTC) to 12 October at 0400 hours local time (0200 hours UTC). Train service to and from ‘s-Hertogenbosch is scheduled to be suspended during these two days, and local and express buses will operate between ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Tilburg, Boxtel, Geldermalsen, and Oss.
• Phase three runs from 12 October at 0401 hours local time (0201 hours UTC) to 20 October at 0200 hours (0000 hours UTC), during which local and express buses are expected to operate between ‘s-Hertogenbosch and Boxtel, and between ‘s-Hertogenbosch and Tilburg. During all phases, passengers travelling between Eindhoven and Utrecht may need to travel via Rotterdam, and NS advises avoiding rush hour traffic. Extra travel time of up to 30 minutes should be anticipated.
