According to reports, from Saturday (23 May), all railway services on the Alexandroupoli, Ormenio and Orestiada route are scheduled to be temporarily suspended.

• Hellenic Train stated that replacement bus services are scheduled to operate along the affected routes during the suspension period.
• The replacement buses are not expected to stop at Pythio, Sakko, Kavyli, Marasia, Dilofo and Ptelea stations.
• Rail services are expected to resume following the completion of the installation works.
• The measure is being carried out due to infrastructure related works and the planned installation of the HEPOS geolocation system on rolling stock operated by Hellenic Train.
