Rail and underground disruptions reported across London on Tuesday (24 February)

As per reports, the London transport network is experiencing simultaneous disruptions across both National Rail services to and from Gatwick Airport and multiple Transport for London (TfL) Underground lines on Tuesday (24 February).

• As per a statement issued by Network Rail and reported by National Rail Enquiries, a points failure at Three Bridges station (West Sussex) has blocked certain lines at the station during the morning of Tuesday (24 February). Disruption is expected to continue until approximately 1000 hours local time (1000 hours UTC) on Tuesday (24 February).
• The following services are affected: the Gatwick Express service between Brighton and London Victoria is disrupted; Southern services to London Victoria from Portsmouth Harbour, Bognor Regis, Eastbourne, Littlehampton, and Ore are affected; Thameslink services to Bedford, Cambridge, and Peterborough via London Bridge are disrupted.
• Northern Line (Edgware–Golders Green): There is no service between Edgware and Golders Green due to a points failure at Colindale. Minor delays continue between Golders Green and Camden Town, affecting peak-hour commuters on Tuesday (24 February).
