As per reports, the Union of Administrative, Technical and Professional Staff of Public Transport (a CUPE-FTQ local) is scheduled to conduct a one-day strike in Montreal on Wednesday (19 November) from 0001 hours to 2359 hours local time. The union represents 1,316 members in administrative and technical roles.

A separate negotiation process continues between STM and the union representing 4,500 bus drivers and metro operators, which is attempting to avert a separate two-day strike. Without a change in negotiations, no metro or bus service is expected on Saturday (15 November) and Sunday (16 November), marking their second and third strike days after a previous walkout on 01 November.

• STM states that metro service is expected to end at normal hours on the night of Friday to Saturday, resuming Monday (17 November) at 0530 hours. Bus service is expected to stop at 0400 hours on Saturday (15 November) and resume on Monday (17 November) at 0400 hours. Adapted transport services remain unaffected.
• The Administrative Labour Tribunal ratified the essential-services agreement between the union and the Montreal Transit Corporation (STM). The agreement specifies that 33 designated employees across various job categories will provide essential services either on-site or remotely, ensuring response capacity for urgent operational needs related to public safety or population health.
