As per reports, the Municipality of Plovdiv has issued a public advisory ahead of the 140th anniversary of the Unification of Bulgaria and the city holiday on Saturday (06 September).
• For security reasons, from 1600 hours to 2230 hours (local time), flights of drones and other unmanned or manned aircraft are prohibited within a radius of 1000 meters and a height of 1000 meters around the Unification Monument at Roman Stadium Square, except for aircraft using Plovdiv Airport.
• Political organizations planning to lay wreaths must declare the ceremony and the three names of wreath bearers to the municipality by 1200 hours (local time) on Friday (05 September).
• Entry for authorized representatives will be via Khan Kubrat Street from 1730 hours to 1900 hours (local time).
• The festive program begins at 1000 hours (local time) with a prayer service in St. Bogoroditsa Cathedral, followed by the laying of wreaths at memorial sites.
