As per reports, Elokapina, the Finnish branch of Extinction Rebellion is scheduled to organize a demonstration in downtown Helsinki on Friday (07 June) at 1300 hours (local time). The demonstration is a part of a campaign named ‘Storm Warning’.

Around 2000 protestors are expected to gather at Kauppatori, converging from Senate Square (Senaatintori), Kamppi Chapel of Silence, Kaivopuisto Park, and Hakaniemi Market Square. Demonstrators have planned to use ‘finger tactics’ where protesters are divided into smaller units, each with specific action plans.

• Additional demonstrations are scheduled for Tuesday (11 June), 25 June, 28 June and 30 June.
