Protests reported in Samastipur following a teacher’s murder on Wednesday (06 November)

As per reports, a school teacher was shot dead by unidentified criminals on Wednesday (06 November). The assailants allegedly attempted to rob him, and when he resisted, they shot him. In response, residents blocked NH 122B near Madudabad Chowk, placing the teacher’s body on the road, leading to significant traffic disruption with long vehicle queues on both sides. Protestors also lit fires on the road, demanding immediate arrests of the criminals involved. The blockade was lifted after negotiations with the police.
