As per reports, a protest rally has been announced in Islamabad by the lawyers against the country’s police on Monday (05 May). The lawyers are demanding that action be taken against the police officers involved in the incident of assault on senior advocate Adnan Abbasi.

The Islamabad Bar Council (IBC), Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHCBA) and Islamabad Bar Association (IBS) will first attend a general body meeting at the IHC building, and a protest rally will be held at Shahrah-e-Dastur.
