As per reports, on Friday (06 June), a group of demonstrators affiliated with the Student and People’s Network for Thailand Reform (PDRC) held a protest outside the Cambodian Embassy in Bangkok’s Wang Thonglang District. The protest was held in response to ongoing tensions along the Thai-Cambodian border.
Furthermore, Thailand’s military on Friday (06 June) signaled heightened readiness amid ongoing border tensions with Cambodia, stating that it is prepared to initiate a ‘high-level operation’ to safeguard national sovereignty, should the situation escalate.
