As per reports, Thai authorities have indefinitely closed border crossings in the Maha Wan subdistrict of Mae Sot district, Tak province on Friday (30 October), following intense fighting between Myanmar military forces and Karen resistance groups (including the Karen National Liberation Army / KNLA) that spilled across the border into Thailand.
