According to reports, demonstrators staged a protest march through the center of Kushiro City on Saturday (07 June) against upcoming live ammunition training by the United States (U.S.) Marine Corps.

The protest was part of an ‘All-Hokkaido Rally’ opposing drills scheduled from Sunday-Thursday (08-19 June), at the Ground Self-Defense Force Yausubetsu Training Area in Betsukai Town.
