As per reports, a hunger strike and protest by the Dhangar Community under the leadership of Dipak Borhade continued on Wednesday (24 September) in Jalna near the Collector’s office.

Minister of Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development of Maharashtra, Pankaja Munde, also visited the protest site to showcase her support for the community and hear the demands of the protestors on Wednesday (24 September).

• Further protests have also been announced in Buldana from Thursday (25 September), followed by demonstration in Yavatmanl, Amravati, and other districts of Maharashtra.
• Reports also suggest that the protestors may further extend their protests till Mumbai and Delhi in case the authorities fail to resolve theire demands.
