As per reports, political parties have scheduled protests across Tamil Nadu on Thursday (22 January) to condemn the United States (US) government’s bill to impose 500 percent tax on Indian goods.

The Communist Party of India (Marxist), the Communist Party of India, and the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation party has announced protest demonstrations across 10 cities – Chennai, Kanchipuram, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Krishnagiri, Karur, Virudhunagar, and Thoothukudi.
