As per reports, residents of Bachupally area in Hyderabad are likely to protest against the Pollution Control Board (PCB) for its failure to take action against industrial pollution, at the PCB office in Erragadda, on Sunday (16 March).
• A PCB official has stated that the inspection teams had earlier been dispatched to Bachupally and surrounding areas, including Bollaram, Kazipally, Bonthapally, Jinnaram and Pashamylaram, to monitor pollution levels.
• Additionally, complaints had been received before the Sunday (09 March) protest and that patrolling teams were inspecting industries.
