The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued the following Forecast and Nowcast warnings for Andhra Pradesh on Saturday (31 October), as per the District-wise forecast PDF document issued on Friday (30 October).
• Forecast: A yellow alert has been issued for thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and strong surface winds of 30 to 40 kilometers per hour, gusting up to 50 kilometers per hour, likely at isolated places across all districts of Andhra Pradesh.
• Nowcast: A yellow alert has been issued for light rainfall of less than 05 millimeters per hour, light thunderstorms, and maximum surface wind speeds of less than 40 kilometers per hour in Anakapalli, Visakhapatnam, Sri Potti Sriramulu Nellore, and Prakasam. The alert is valid until 0700 hours (local time) on Saturday (31 October).
