As per reports, the New South Wales parliament was temporarily shut down after pro-Palestinian protesters disrupted question time on Wednesday (20 March). Parliament security moved to remove the demonstrators from the gallery, who interrupted the proceedings.
The parliament livestream was also temporarily cut while protesters were removed. The disruption occurred simultaneously while firefighters from the Fire Brigade Employees Union (FBEU) were also demonstrating, with a cavalcade of fire trucks driving down Macquarie Street.
