According to reports, the All Kerala Bus Operators Organization announced a strike in the month of May. A bus protection march will be staged from Kasaragod to Thiruvananthapuram from 03-09 April.

A letter has been sent to the state government demanding an increase in the minimum fare for students. The union has informed the strike scheduled in May will continue if the state government fails to implement necessary measures.
