As per reports, the price of Omani oil futures contracts for May delivery rose by 18 cents per barrel, as of Wednesday (12 March).

• The price reached USD 70.68 per barrel, compared to USD 70.5 the previous day.
• The average price for April delivery is USD 77.63 per barrel, and for March delivery, it is USD 80.26 per barrel.
• Globally, the US Nymex crude futures for April delivery rose by 1.37 percent to USD 67.16 per barrel.
• Brent crude for May delivery increased by 1.25 percent to USD 70.43 per barrel.
