Power shutdowns scheduled in parts of Srinagar and Anantnag from 27 April-04 May

As per reports, the Chief Engineer, Distribution, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL), has announced scheduled shutdowns of 33 kilovolt (kV) transmission lines in parts of Srinagar and Anantnag districts for planned maintenance works.

• The 33 kV Sallar Tap line will remain shut on Monday (27 April) from 1000 hours to 1500 hours (local time), affecting power supply in Sallar, Kuller, Kathsoo, and nearby areas.
• Separately, the 33 kV Rawalpora-Bagh-i-Mehtab line will remain shut on Thursday (30 April) and Monday (04 May) from 0900 hours to 1500 hours (local time), affecting power supply in Bagh-i-Mehtab, Kralpora, Gopalpora, Mochwa, Kantha Bagh, and adjoining areas.
• KPDCL has advised consumers in affected areas to make necessary arrangements during the shutdown periods.
