As per reports, the Kenya Power and Lighting Company (KPLC) announced planned electricity interruptions in six counties on Tuesday (15 April) to facilitate scheduled system maintenance.

The power cut will affect customers in multiple localities across Nairobi, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Murang’a, Mombasa, and Uasin Gishu counties.

• The outages are scheduled in the regions of Pipeline, Githurai 44 and Zimmerman, in the Nairobi county, from 0900 hours to 1700 hours (local time).
• The outages are scheduled in the regions of Nyabondo, Sondu and Chebera, in the Kisumu county, from 0900 hours to 1500 hours (local time).
• The outages are scheduled in the regions of Adiedo, Kendubay and Gendia, in the Homa Bay county, from 0900 hours to 1600 hours (local time).
• The outages are scheduled in the regions of Maragwa, Ichagaki and Igikiro, in the Murang’a county, from 0900 hours to 1700 hours (local time).
• The outages are scheduled in the regions of Wayani and Kizingo, in the Mombasa county, from 0900 hours to 1700 hours (local time).
• The outages are scheduled in the regions of Mugunga and Pan Paper, in the Uasin Gishu county, from 0800 hours to 1700 hours (local time).
