As per reports, power outages have been reported for over 1200 customers of Fortis BC in Kelowna, British Columbia on Thursday (30 January). The outage began at 1241 hours local time and its cause is unknown.
The utility provider originally expected to restore power for affected residents between the downtown core and Kelowna General Hospital by 1500 hours local time, however, the outages have continued until 1845 hours local time.
