As per reports, Qatar’s Department of Meteorology has issued a weather advisory for poor horizontal visibility due to mist and fog, effective late night Monday (02 February) through early Tuesday (03 February).
• Cold and misty conditions are expected to develop overnight, with fog formation likely later, leading to reduced horizontal visibility until approximately 0600 hours local time on Tuesday (0300 hours UTC).
• Onshore visibility may reduce to four kilometres or less, while offshore visibility may fall below three to four kilometres at times.
• Winds are expected to remain generally light to moderate and variable, with calm sea conditions reported both inshore and offshore.
• The advisory covers major populated and industrial areas, including Doha, Mesaieed, Al Wakrah, Al Khor, Ruwais, Dukhan, and Abu Samra, where early-morning travel and marine operations may be affected.
