As per reports, students of government and private polytechnic institutes announced on Saturday (17 May) to hold nationwide protest on Sunday (18 May) demanding the cancellation of the promotion verdict of craft instructors.

In addition to the nationwide protest program, students of polytechnic institutes in Dhaka will also hold a human chain and sit-in program in front of the High Court.
