As per reports, Committee for the Respect of Freedom and Human Rights in Tunisia (CRLDHT, Comité pour le respect des libertés et droits de l’homme en Tunisie) announced a political demonstration for Paris for Saturday (06 December), to protest the mass sentencing of Tunisian opposition figures.

• The reason for the demonstration is to denounce the recent judgments handed down by the Tunis Court of Appeal on 27 November, in the alleged politically motivated “Conspiracy Case” in Tunisia.
• The CRLDHT statement claims the Court of Appeal handed down a total of 824 years in prison to numerous journalists, political opponents, lawyers, and human rights defenders.
