As per reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Varanasi on Saturday (02 August), for a one-day tour during which he will address a large public gathering at Banauli (Kalika Dham) in the Sevapuri Assembly constituency.
• The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Kashi region unit has begun extensive preparations to mobilize several thousand attendees, with transportation arrangements being made from all eight assembly constituencies in the district.
• The Prime Minister is expected to inaugurate completed projects worth over INR 600 crore, including the Sowa Rigpa Medical College at the Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies in Sarnath, and the Varanasi–Bhadohi four-lane road.
• Additionally, he will lay the foundation stone for development initiatives worth over INR 1,650 crore aimed at further boosting infrastructure and public services in his parliamentary constituency.
