As per reports, Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi will arrive in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday (23 January) to take part in a series of programs, with the central highlight being the announcement of a comprehensive urban development plan for the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation.

While further details of the visit are awaited, the PM is reportedly scheduled to address a large public gathering at the Thiruvananthapuram Central Stadium, where he is expected to formally announce the city’s long-term development plan under the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led municipal governance.
