As per reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to partially inaugurate Mumbai’s Metro 3 line, specifically the segment between Aarey Colony and Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), on 04 October. Additionally, he is scheduled to launch other infrastructural projects, including one corridor of the Thane Creek Bridge, the final phase of the Samruddhi Expressway, and the foundation stone for the Thane Ring Metro, among other infrastructure works.
Currently, three dates between 03-05 October are being considered for the inauguration of various projects in Mumbai. However, 04 October has reportedly been identified as the preferred date for the inauguration of multiple projects, including the Metro 3 line.
