As per reports, planned electricity supply disruptions are scheduled across multiple districts of Istanbul, Turkey between Tuesday (12 May) and Wednesday (13 May) due to maintenance, transformer, infrastructure renewal, and subscriber connection works conducted by Boğaziçi Electricity Distribution Company (BEDAŞ).
• Reports indicate electricity disruptions are scheduled in districts including Arnavutköy, Bağcılar, Beylikdüzü, Büyükçekmece, Esenler, Esenyurt, Gaziosmanpaşa, Kağıthane, and Sultangazi on Tuesday (12 May), primarily between 0800 hours local time (0500 hours UTC) and 1800 hours local time (1500 hours UTC).
• Reportedly, additional outages are scheduled in parts of Büyükçekmece on Wednesday (13 May) between 0900 hours local time (0600 hours UTC) and 1700 hours local time (1400 hours UTC) due to preventive maintenance and subscriber connection works.
• Reports suggest the maintenance operations include transformer centre servicing, overhead line maintenance, infrastructure renewal, preventive maintenance, and investment-related electricity network upgrades.
