As per reports, authorities in Bucaramanga, Colombia, are expected to continue enforcing the “Pico y Placa” (Peak and Plate) traffic restriction on Tuesday (03 March), as part of mobility and congestion-control measures.
• The restriction applies across the main roads of Bucaramanga and is intended to reduce traffic congestion, improve mobility, and support environmental protection efforts.
• Operating hours for private vehicles and motorcycles are from 0600 hours local time to 2000 hours local time (1100 hours UTC to 0100 hours UTC next day), while taxis (public service vehicles) are restricted from 0700 hours local time to 2100 hours local time (1200 hours UTC to 0200 hours UTC next day).
• Private cars with license plates ending in three and four are not allowed to circulate during restricted hours.
• Motorcycles with plates ending in three and four are also subject to the circulation ban.
• Taxis with license plates ending in one and two must comply with the restriction during taxi-designated hours.
• Vehicles that fail to comply with the measure may be subject to fines and traffic penalties.
