As per reports, the Pancyprian Federation of Labour (PEO) has organised a protest march in Nicosia on Thursday (22 October) to raise concerns regarding workplace health and safety.
• The demonstration is expected to commence at 1700 hours local time (1400 hours UTC) from Pancyprian Federation of Labour (PEO) headquarters on Archermou Street, Nicosia.
• Participants are expected to march along Digeni Akrita Avenue towards the Ministry of Labour, located on Spyros Kyprianou Avenue, where the demonstration is expected to conclude.
• The protest forms part of PEO’s campaign to raise awareness of workplace safety and health issues and to call attention to concerns affecting workers.
