As per reports, water supply disruptions are scheduled to begin on Tuesday night (30 January) at around 2330 hours by the Penang Water Supply Corporation (PBAPP). The water supply disruption was due to a large leak in the 1,350mm pipeline at the bottom of the Sungai Perai last Tuesday (23 January).
Around 120,000 consumers in the southwest district and part of the northeast district are likely to be affected.
