As per reports, the Instituto Nacional de Tránsito y Transporte Terrestre (INTRANT) has announced a temporary closure on a key section of Avenida José Núñez de Cáceres in Santo Domingo’s Distrito Nacional on Sunday (22 February), starting at 1200 hours local time (1600 hours UTC).

• The measure is part of scheduled infrastructure works on the potable water network being carried out by the Corporación del Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Santo Domingo (CAASD) and may affect both directions of travel along this corridor.
• The affected areas include Avenida José Núñez de Cáceres between Calle Olof Palme and Calle Celeste Woss y Gil in both directions.
