As per the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), easterlies are affecting parts of the Philippines, based on the weather forecast issued at 0400 hours (local time) on Tuesday (28 April).
• Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms are expected in Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, Maguindanao del Norte, Maguindanao del Sur, Zamboanga del Sur, and Misamis Occidental due to easterlies. Moderate to at times heavy rainfall may lead to possible flash floods or landslides.
• In Metro Manila and the rest of the country, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected due to easterlies. Severe thunderstorms may result in possible flash floods or landslides.
