As per the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) advisory issued on Monday (04 May), cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms are expected across Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, BARMM, and Palawan due to easterlies. Moderate to at times heavy rainfall may occur in these areas.
• Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are expected across Metro Manila and the rest of the Philippines, also due to easterlies.
• Severe thunderstorm activity in localized areas may result in short-duration intense rainfall, particularly in areas experiencing stronger thunderstorm cells.
