As per reports, phase two of road closures in Orpington High Street begins on Tuesday (14 May), marking the continuation of planned works. Phase two focuses on the War Memorial roundabout and Zebra Crossing. This closure is scheduled to last until Friday (17 May), during which traffic will be redirected via Homefield Rise, Gravel Pit Way, and Spur Road in both directions.

• Throughout these closures, businesses in the affected area will remain accessible, with maintained access to Knoll Rise via the Homefield Rise roundabout.
• Bromley Council has advised that there may be limited on-site presence during these works as materials cure before allowing traffic to resume normal passage.
• The final phase is slated to begin on Tuesday (21 May), impacting Homefield Rise at the junction with Orpington High Street. Temporary three-way traffic signals will be installed, expected to remain in operation until Friday (24 May).
