The Central Weather Administration (CWA) has issued an orange heat alert for Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, Yunlin County, Tainan City and Pingtung County, effective from the morning through the afternoon of Wednesday (30 September).
Daily maximum temperatures are forecast to reach 36 degrees Celsius for three consecutive days in the designated areas.
