The Central Weather Administration has issued a yellow strong wind advisory for Taoyuan City, Hsinchu County, Miaoli County, Taichung City, Pingtung County, Taitung County, Penghu County, and Lienchiang County, effective from early Saturday morning through Saturday night (31 October).
Wind conditions are forecast to reach Beaufort force six, with gusts potentially reaching force eight across the affected areas.
