As per reports, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) has declared orange and yellow code alerts for intense rainfall and strong winds affecting 19 districts in Bulgaria on Sunday (15 February).

• An orange code for intense rainfall and strong winds has been announced in the districts of Haskovo, Kardzhali, Smolyan, and Blagoevgrad.
• A yellow code for rainfall is in force in the districts of Pazardzhik, Kyustendil, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora, Yambol, Sliven, Burgas, Varna, Dobrich, Silistra, Ruse, Veliko Tarnovo, Targovishte, Razgrad, and Shumen.
• The system is part of a broader unstable front affecting the Balkans.
