The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued warnings for inclement weather including heatwaves, thunderstorms and lightning along with strong winds in parts of Telangana until Friday (12 April).

• Monday (08 April)- Yellow alert for thunderstorm and lightning along with strong winds is active in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial and Kamareddy districts. Meanwhile, an orange alert for heatwave is active in Bhadradri-Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Wanaparthi and Jogulamba-Gadwal districts.
• Tuesday (09 April)- Yellow alert for thunderstorm and lightning along with strong winds has been issued in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Kamareddy, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Peddapalli, Mulugu and Karimnagar. Additionally yellow alert for heatwave has been issued in Wanaparthi and Jogulamba-Gadwal districts.
• Wednesday (10 April)- Yellow alert for thunderstorm and lightning along with strong winds has been issued in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Kamareddy, Jayashankar Bhupalapally, Peddapalli, Mulugu, Karimnagar and Medak districts.
• Thursday (11 April)- Yellow alert for thunderstorm and lightning along with strong winds has been issued in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial and Peddapalli districts.
• Friday (12 April)- Yellow alert for thunderstorm and lightning along with strong winds has been issued in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Kamareddy, Sangareddy, Medak and Siddipet.
