As per reports, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke banned all activities of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in motor parks across Osun State on Thursday (23 July).

• Reports indicate that the directive was issued following a meeting of the State Security Council. Security agencies have been instructed to prevent individuals from operating in motor parks in the name of the NURTW and to halt the collection of levies.
• Reportedly, the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies have been directed to arrest individuals found violating the directive for possible prosecution.
