As per the Freeway Bureau, the connector ramp from the Tai 64 Viaduct to the Freeway 01 northbound on-ramp at Wugu Interchange will be closed overnight from 2300 hours (local time) to 0600 hours (local time), from Wednesday (16 September) to Wednesday (23 September), excluding weekends and public holidays.
• During the closure, motorists are advised to use the ground-level northbound entrance ramp at Wugu Interchange.
• Motorists travelling from Luzhou District to Freeway 01 northbound via Yong-An Bridge are advised to use Zhongxing Road, turn left onto Xinwu Road and access the northbound on-ramp at Wugu Interchange.
• Motorists travelling on Tai 64 towards Freeway 01 northbound are advised to exit at the second Wugu Interchange, descend to ground-level Zhongxing Road, turn left onto Xinwu Road and use the northbound on-ramp at Wugu Interchange.
• Motorists from the Taishan area are advised to use Xinwu Road to access the Freeway 01 on-ramps at Wugu Interchange.
• Drivers who miss the ground-level exit while travelling on the connector viaduct between Tai 64 and Freeway 01 are advised to continue towards the Freeway 01 southbound on-ramp, travel to Linkou Interchange and return to Freeway 01 northbound.
• The connector ramp to the Freeway 01 southbound entrance at Wugu Interchange will remain open throughout the construction period.
• Traffic delays are anticipated during the closure periods, and the night construction schedule may be changed due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
