As per reports, Nigerian Army declared 38 leaders of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) ‘wanted’ on Wednesday (05 August) following intelligence gathered during military operations in Lake Chad region of Borno State.
• According to Operation HADIN KAI, forensic analysis of the recovered devices lead to identification of several ISWAP commanders and their locations within the Mangari, Metele and Dogon Chukun areas of Abadam and Kukawa Local Government Areas.
• Among those declared wanted include Abu Musa Al-Mangawi Baa Shuwa (most wanted), Muhammad Jidda, and Hamad Abu Hanifa, the group’s Amirul-Fiya.
• The army announced a financial reward for credible information leading to the arrest of Abu Musa Al-Mangawi Baa Shuwa.
